Infrared Sensors

The IR sensors can be recognized by the fact that there is a shoulder of 8-14 mm height at the edge of the touch surface. The sides of the frame consist of a metal profile with a slot opening. The IR sensors are used for 2, 6, 10, 32 or 40 simultaneous touch point detection.

PCAP Sensors

Through the glass sensors (projected capacitive) usually have a closed front glass without a shoulder at the edge of the touch area. The through glass sensors can be used for single touch or up to 100x touch.
